Branding and packaging for a revolutionary new make-up brand.

We took up the challenge of branding an exciting, luxurious cosmetics range in a highly competitive market-place. ARIA specialises in high-definition airbrush make-up, which is fast becoming the choice of many professional make up artists. The branding had to embody the nature of the products by being eye-catching and distinctive within a retail environment.
Hawaii’s approach was to tap into ARIA’s technological innovation in the cosmetics field and create a brand identity that pairs classic confidence with futuristic styling.

Brand identity
The angular monochromatic identity is clean and precise in its execution, making a visual nod to the characteristics of high-definition airbrushing. This angular and faceted theme was developed and applied across all the packaging.
Packaging
The geometric design was applied to glass pipette bottles and boxes to create a dramatic repeat print that would stand out within a retail environment. We devised a numeric and colour-coded system to help customers familiarise themselves with the full range of products.
Stationary
We designed a range of ARIA stationery that would complete the identity across every piece of brand communication.
Brand guidelines
Hawaii produced a cohesive set of guides giving a detailed roll-out of the logotype, as well as production and implementation of all the packaging.
